Lakeview Lodge at Tallington Lakes

Absolutely amazing little lodge – from the moment we walked in it was spotless.

It had everything you need: dishwasher, washing machine, and the place was spotlessly tidy. The man next door came and checked the hot tub every day, so we were very well looked after.

If I had to make one small criticism, it was that the water in the shower cubicle didn't get very hot – but other than that, I cannot recommend this place enough.

Definitely going back, as it's the perfect place to relax!

As a regular lodge user, there is always something you wish was supplied – but not here. Everything you could want was there.

Had a lovely break away at this comfortable, relaxing lodge – a real home from home.

The lake views were simply amazing, and being able to enjoy them whilst relaxing in the hot tub was even better.

Enjoyed good food at the on-site restaurant and appreciated Pete's help with a few small problems. Hope to return soon.

We had a fabulous ladies' stay at the lodge. It was very comfortable, and we loved the jacuzzi – perfect for chats, drinks and giggles.

Pete (neighbour) popped over and offered a helping hand – lovely touch. Enjoyed the waterski displays, gorgeous views and luckily beautiful weather too!

Nice lodge, lake life – enjoyed by all!

We had a fabulous time in your lovely lodge! Very clean, comfy beds, and we especially loved the two sunloungers at the bottom of the deck.

A cheese grater would have been handy for fajita night… but we improvised and had cheese shavings! (It could be possible that we just couldn't find it.)

Amazing view, fantastic hot tub! The kids loved feeding the ducks and swans. Thank you! xx

Lakeview Lodge was perfect for us. It was very clean and well maintained, with plenty of room inside and out.

We particularly liked the outside decking, which went right down to the water. Such a nice position on the main bank, not far from the restaurant.

We went jet skiing and had a lovely time – the weather was gorgeous. The next-door neighbour looks after the place and was very helpful.

Would come again and recommend.

Fantastic stay – exceptionally clean, peaceful, and amazing views of the lake.

Everything you need is in the lodge, with milk, tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits on arrival. Paul next door, who maintains the lodge, was brilliant.

We booked 4 nights in June and have just booked a return at the end of July!

I could not find a fault with it and would highly recommend this stay.

This is our third visit to this property and it never disappoints. Clean and comfortable. We will be back.

We had a lovely stay and wished we could stay longer. The lodge was very cosy and the view was fabulous. We had everything we needed and could see that a lot of the feedback we read from previous guests had been addressed.

Internet connection was slow, which didn't matter too much for our break but may be important to others.

The kettle could do with descaling.

Otherwise we had no problems and would happily stay again.

Gorgeous property overlooking the lake, all fenced off so safe for dogs!

What really let it down was the twin beds – extremely springy – and the sofa bed was also small and uncomfortable.

Kettle needs urgently replacing; no filter, so full of limescale.

Cleanliness good, but being picky, the cutlery holder was a bit dirty.

Great location. Slept well in the double bed, but the 2 single beds need new mattresses or thick toppers. But would like to return another time.

Amazing view and the hot tub.

It was very nice and quite big. It was nice to walk into a very clean lodge – the best I've been in. It had absolutely everything you needed; it wasn't short of anything. The beds were so comfortable I slept great, and the hot tub was brilliant.

The neighbours next door were so helpful – they even looked after my little dog, which was so nice of them. If you needed anything you could go to them. Lovely people.

The views were amazing, you couldn't ask for much more. We loved every minute of it – the week just went too quickly. Thank you for a great stay.

The problem we had was that there was no lighting from the door to the steps. It was very dark as you walked up, so you definitely need a torch. There was a security light as you got down the steps, but it only stayed on for a few seconds, and there wasn't much lighting on the veranda – only at the back where the hot tub was.

The kitchen kettle wasn't good, as it was full of limescale, so we bought one from the supermarket. Apart from that, it was a beautiful place.

Lovely setting, fantastic weather! So relaxing just looking out over the water. The boats and skiing were a pleasant distraction, rather than being intrusive.

The neighbourly help and interest was exceptional! Pete and Deborah are absolute stars. x
