Open Water Swimming

The Watersports Centre at Tallington Lakes provides an ideal venue in one of our clean spring fed lakes for Open Water Swimming – please note: this is not a general swim session and all participants must be a competent swimmer of 750m in open water. Winter sessions are not for beginners and only for competent swimmers in the cold water, It’s mandatory for all participants to tow a swim float whilst in our lake. (Sorry we don’t hire float’s out).

Wetsuits are mandatory for all participants when the water temperature is below 14.5c. A limited selection of wetsuits are available for hire if required, at an additional cost.
